There are several other obvious issues in what you have posted so far but at least you might get the video driver out of the equation that makes up the problem.ĭISM and SFC sould have fixed a lot of issues.logs look good. You can enable the search again later when you are finished with the other things and let it build it's Index which could take several to many hours of lots of disk activity. I would tell you how but sometime my interventions are frowned upon.Ī frequent cause of lots of disk I/O is the Windows Search Service (and your is enabled) so when you see the disk activity too high go to Services and and Stop that Service and if the problem goes away, disable the Service and restart. You should be able to easily find out what is using the disk with Resource Monitor (that's what it's for) so maybe somebody will help you with that. Your Speccy report also shows hibernation was not enabled so turning it off did nothing for the issue - but I know for some it seems a basic troubleshooting step.

The only place you should get video drivers is from the hardware manufacturers site - not from Windows or Updates from Device Manager since (and I checked) Microsoft has a worse video driver than that so you are luck that idea didn't backfire on you. Some of the things I've tried to no avail (a lot of these were prior to full reset). Every game I played I could play at high graphics without issue and good FPS (e.g. Got it for virtual work and mostly gaming. So I'm pretty green as far as computers go.
